NEW Hybrid Sculpting Advanced Workshop ages 10+
There is a new HYBRID SCULPTURE workshop in 2024 for children aged 10 and up. At City Sculpting, we are offering older children an opportunity to gain familiarity in 3D modeling softwares (like blender) by running a workshop where kids can invent, develop and build your own character, using a combination of 3D scanning and printing as well as traditional sculpting methods.
We plan to make 3D scans of your children’s head, which they will model in digital softwares and print within the week. While the head is being printed, the children will work on the body of their figure and environment of their self-portrait/superhero or character of their choosing.
There will be limited availability for this workshop and an extra $50 material fee. The workshop is currently available fo Week 1 and Week 2 of the camp. To reserve your spot sign up on the registration form. To inquire further, please email vansolomon@icloud.com.
City Sculpting is a children's Visual Art camp with a specialized focus on sculpture. children, aged 5-14, tackle a new dynamic lesson in the elements of design daily. We teach a wide variety of different techniques and skills and carefully curate the projects and materials depending on the needs, interests and the abilities of your child. Younger children work on simpler creations, while older kids are encouraged to take on more detailed pieces. Materials and tools are included.
We can’t wait to immerse our kids in an environment of imagination and creativity!
