City Sculpting Arts Program

City Sculpting Summer Arts Program
City Sculpting is a creative visual arts children's program with a specialized focus on sculpture.

This summer the program will run out of THREE VENUES:
City Sculpting is launching a New Manhattan Uptown venue at Studio Maestro 48 West 68th Street, New York, NY 10023. The venue is between Central Park West and Columbus, it is accessible to families from the upper east and upper west side of manhattan. Children will enjoy their picnic style lunch in one of the nicest sections of Central Park!

Our regular East Village, Manhattan and Greenpoint, Brooklyn venues will also be open.
City Sculpting 2014 Summer Program will explore countless ways of making, building, and casting all sorts of sculptural creations. We will use life casting to inspire projects around the theme of self-portraits. We will make exotic clay creations inspired from African and Mexican masks. Children will learn to weave, bead and make endless crafty creations. Not to mention, paper mache, mosaics, print making, water colors and basic life and fantasy drawing. Children build on projects one day at a time, expanding their technical skills and creative realms. Older children are challenged with more advanced projects and techniques. Many children come back for a second week and return with friends to our program every year. Age range 5 to 14.

An EARLY BIRD special is open for the Summer and you will get a discounted weekly rate of $450 (East Village and Greenpoint) or $550 (Uptown Manhattan) if you register before May 1st, 2014. Our regular weekly rate is $525 (East Village and Brooklyn) or $625 (Uptown), materials included.

The program runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Extended days are offered at all our venues, pricing will vary according to numbers.

Children bring their own lunch that we refrigerate. Lunch will be picnic style at a local park, accompanied by outdoor play. City Sculpting supplies a healthy morning snack with filtered water.
