We have written a complete outline to give you an idea of what your child's days at camp will look like. Older children may have a slightly different schedule as activities will be geared to challenge each child personally. Please do not hesitate to call or email us with any questions you might have.
A Typical Day at City Sculpting Summer Arts Program:
9:00 am Morning Drop Off
9:00-9:25 Morning Meeting – Free draw
9:30-10:15 Make Art!
10:15-10:45 Snack
10:45-11:45 Make Art!
12:30-1:10 Lunch and Outdoor Activity
1:15-2:30 Continue Making Art!
2:30-2:55 Clean up, Meet and Share
3:00 pm Pick up/Sign out
Morning Drop Off
Time 9:00 am. There will be an assistant ready to meet you – parent will sign child in and child will go into morning ready room. Please make every effort for a swift departure after drop off; it helps to kick off the day on an organized note.
Afternoon Pickup
Pick up is at 3:00 PM at the classroom. If you are late, your child will be cared for but there will be an additional fee for every 15 minutes after 3:10. There are sometimes extended day hours from 3:00-5:00 pm at a negotiated rates which are dependent on the amount of children participating.
Lunch/Snack
Healthy snacks will be provided throughout the day but a packed lunch must be brought daily. Lunch will be spent in one of the two nearby parks, Greenwood Playground or Vanderbilt Playground, weather permitting. We take snack in the beautiful garden attached to the church grounds.
Camp Pricing
Early Bird Special: Register before April 1 and pay $550 per week. $600 after April 1st.
Early Bird Special: Register before April 1st for Hybrid Sculpture Workshop and pay $600 per week. $650 after April 1st.
We offer a 10% sibling discount: pay full price for the first child and get 10% off for their sibling(s).
First Aid and Allergies
We have a well-stocked first aid kit. Please DO NOT send your child to camp sick, they will be sent home immediately. We will keep a list of your child’s allergies and dietary requirements on us at all times.
City Sculpting Class Policies
Weekly/daily tuition and registration is due before your child begins classes.
Storage of work is for one week only.
No refunds on any class (unless classes have been cancelled by City Sculpting).
Due to limited numbers advanced registration is highly recommended.
To Bring In Backpack Daily:
Change of clothing, possibly waterproof shoes.
Non-perishable lunch in separate insulated lunch bag/clearly marked (we can refrigerate if necessary).
Old t-shirt or art smock.
